WEBFeb 1, 2024 · Person-to-person transmission of TB occurs via inhalation of droplet nuclei (airborne particles 1 to 5 microns in diameter). Coughing and singing facilitate formation of droplet nuclei [ 4-8 ], though these particles are generated in the absence of either activity.
