Jun 05, 2017 · The Audible Win 10 app is painfully slow downloading book. It can take 1/2 hour or 45 minutes to download one audio book. Does anyone know how to speed up the app or do I need to change some setting on my PC?

Yes, it's their issue. Keep your phone on and the audible app open and on screen or else your download may pause. I have great wifi and internet and have experienced this issue for several years now on multiple phones and android devices.

It's one of many things I don't like about Audible at this point. Downloads are unreasonably slow. And downloads don't complete in the background, unless you keep the app open and watch it download, it's guaranteed to stop downloading after a minute or two.

Changing the download quality. Open the Audible app. Tap the Profile in the bottom right corner. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner. Tap on Data & Storage. Under, "Download By Quality", tap on the format that is not checked off, to change the download quality. Changing the download by parts setting. Open the Audible app.
