Equinox Gold has three producing mines in Brazil and construction underway at a fourth. The Company’s Aurizona mine is an open-pit mine that commenced production in July 2019. Fazenda is an underground mine that has been operating for more than 30 years. RDM is an open-pit mine that commenced production in 2014.
The company primarily explores for gold and silver deposits. Its properties include the Aurizona gold mine located in Maranhao State; the Fazenda gold mine located in Bahia State; the RDM gold mine located in Minas Gerais State; the Pilar gold mine located in Goias State; and the Santa Luz gold mine located in Bahia State, Brazil.
