Well by chance, I decided to launch the game using these flags: "-vr -oculus" and wouldn't ya know it, it worked! Can you play the game observer in VR?
The game plays in VR, it has full on head tracking and what not, but has a few...bugs.. for instance, the player's body is visible and will scare the crap out of you the first time you load in, and you can look up and down with the thumbstick/mouse which can throw off the view angle. How do you make a VR game on Oculus?
Looks great btw. 1.Go to game installation folder. 2.Right click the TheObserverSub application 3.Select Send to desktop. 4.On desktop right click the newly formed shortcut then select properties 5.On the shortcut tab where it says "target" after the last ( " ) leave a space then type -vr 6.Hit apply 7.launch game from this shortcut 8.VoilaIs there a game that can play in VR?
From wikipedia we can read it's running on Unreal Engine 4, which has VR functionality built in. And when launched with a HMD plugged in you can start up any UE game in VR, but nothing ingame actually could be optimized for it.
